Happy Dragon Boat Festival

Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional holiday originating in China, and this festival occurs on the 5th day of the 5th month of the traditional Chinese calendar. It is also one of the four traditional festivals in China.

The traditional activity of the Dragon Boat Festival is the dragon boat racing. It has a rich history of ancient ceremonial and ritualistic traditions, and it is also a way to in commemoration of a historical figure called Qu Yuan. At present, this event has been deeply loved by people of all countries and has formed an international competition.

And the traditional food is Zongzi (rice dumpling). A notable part of celebrating Dragon Boat Festival is making and eating Zongzi with family and friends. The reason why we must eat zongzi on this special day is because it is considered as a symbol of luck. And it has become one of the most influential and widely covered folk diets of the Chinese nation.
