How to Use Indirect Lighting in Your Home

How to Use Indirect Lighting in Your Home?

Indirect lights always provide a softer illumination with less lighting variation across the area.

Light fixtures that provide indirect illumination are for ambient lighting, and are frequently used to accentuate certain areas of the home and in comfort areas where residents spend time to wind down and relax. Indirect light can be divided into two sub-categories; reflective lighting, and fixtures with shades or colored glass.

For example, home decorators usually utilize reflective lighting to accentuate the walls and ceilings by placing strip lights within specially designed moldings.

Another way to apply this kind of ambient lighting is to place LED strip lights across the top of the kitchen and bathroom cabinets.
